Good Shepherd Entertainment and CreativeForge Games have today announced that Phantom Doctrine is now available on the PlayStation 4 and PC.
Xbox One fans, do not worry as it has suffered a slight delay but will be released in just over a weeks time on August 24th. It is available now for £29.99 and those purchasing will get a 10% discount available on all platforms up until August 28th.
Set at the cold height of the Cold War, Phantom Doctrine is a turn-based espionage tactics game. Players will be able to train their agents, investigate new cases, and research cutting-edge tech at your base, then infiltrate enemy facilities, uncover their schemes, and eliminate their assets with stealth or brute force.
You can play through the single player through two different perspectives. These include a KGB counterintelligence operative or a renegade CIA commando. The campaign is 40+ hours long and you can also unlock New Game Plus. It captures the subtle tension and intrigue of classic Cold War spy films with atmospheric visuals. The soundtrack has been composed by award-winning composer Marcin Przybylowicz who also was behind the soundtrack for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
PlayStation 4 fans, there will also be an update for you to download today to address some minor bugs. Take a look at the trailer and let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.
