It’s time to master the guitar as Ubisoft have announced the launch of Rocksmith+ on PC.
It is available through the Ubisoft Store for £12.99 for a 1-month subscription, £34.99 for a 3-month subscription, and £84.99 for a 12-month subscription. The subscription service will run on any computer with Windows 10, even a 10-year-old laptop and will also be available on mobile later this year. Features include:
- An expanding library of more than 5,000 songs from chart-topping, indie and up-and-coming artists, with more added each week. Players will be able to learn how to play guitar through master recordings of their favourite songs, and discover new music. Rocksmith+ features music across a variety of genres from countries all over the world. To see the song library, please visit: https://www.ubisoft.com/en-us/game/rocksmith/plus/song-library.
- A suite of practice tools with a tailored experience. For example, Rocksmith+ will dynamically adjust to players’ progress as they play, with the Adaptive Difficulty feature, which also introduces new notes and chords based on skill level; and if players want to practice a specific riff, they can select Riff Repeater to do so. These tools are designed to give guitar players control over their musical learning journey.
- Note detection and real-time feedback without the need for any peripherals through the free Rocksmith+ Connect app, a phone-as-a-mic feature on iOS and Android. The app works with acoustic instruments or electric instruments played through an amp – or players can connect their electric instruments with the Rocksmith Real Tone cable, sold separately. Additionally, the Rocksmith+ Connect app also works as an accurate, professional grade guitar tuner. For more information on the Rocksmith Connect app, please visit: rocksmith.com/tuner
- Interactive lessons and practice recommendations that Rocksmith+ generates based on players’ goals, skill level and progress. In addition to learning and improving their mechanics, players have video lessons available to them ranging from proper technique, gear, instrument care, music appreciation and more, through Rocksmith Discover.
