We’ve had the PES 2018 reveal, now it is the time of EA SPORTS to show what they have got with FIFA this year, and a little trailer has shown exactly what FIFA 18 will be fueled by…..recent Champions League winner and global star, Cristiano Ronaldo!
Yup, Ronaldo himself will be the global cover star for FIFA 18 when it is released on September 29th. It will be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Ronaldo’s movement and data was recorded during a training session at a mobile EA Capture Studio in Madrid. EA SPORTS recorded his acceleration, run cadence, skills, and shooting technique in order to bring his proper likeness to FIFA 18. Finally some proper individuality in a FIFA game. Whether that will be anything like the fantastic player ID system in PES is yet to be seen but a good move from EA regardless. This data recorded also give EA important gameplay elements including fluidity, player responsiveness and explosiveness. Aaron McHardy, Senior Producer for EA SPORTS FIFA stated:

Of course, there is a special Ronaldo edition for you to pre-order on the PS4, Xbox One and PC. This edition gives you three-day early access, up to £45 worth of additional content, including 20 jumbo premium gold packs (1 per week for 20 consecutive weeks), eight special edition FIFA Ultimate Team kits designed by artists on the FIFA 18 soundtrack and a Cristiano Ronaldo loan player for five FUT matches. According to Money Empire, Cristiano Ronaldo has a lot of money.
