Global players have shown their enthusiasm for THRONE AND LIBERTY in the days since the free-to-play massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) developed by NCSOFT and published by Amazon Games made its global launch on Oct. 1, with more than 3 million registered players answering the call to reclaim Solisium. Players around the world have already amassed 24 million hours in the game, with more than 11 million hours watched on Twitch.
“Bringing THRONE AND LIBERTY to players around the world has been a huge shared undertaking by our team and our friends at NCSOFT, and we’re so pleased to see the results as players join the game,” said Christoph Hartmann, VP, Amazon Games. “We’re only getting started, and we have a series of updates planned including our first castle siege coming soon.”
THRONE AND LIBERTY combines narrative-rich adventure and guild-focused player-versus-player (PvP) and player-versus-environment (PvE) gameplay in the vast, persistent world of Solisium, which features constantly shifting geographical landscapes and environmental features that drastically change the course of play. Exploration in THRONE AND LIBERTY is built on a unique traversal system where players morph into creatures so they can soar through the air, dash across fields, and swim through seas.
THRONE AND LIBERTY is available now on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, and is rated ESRB T (Teen). For more information, visit the official THRONE AND LIBERTY site.
