The Anville update for Early Access introduces horrifying enemies, calculated traps, and tantalizing skills for players to enjoy!
PARIS, FRANCE – October 21th, 2022 – Twin Sails Interactive and Doom Turtle have announced today that the Anville update for Ember Knights Early Access is now available on Steam (PC). This significant update introduces Anville, The Great Forge, considered as the cradle of industry for the Universe. In this new world, players will visit and explore the electric atmosphere that houses evil machines and deadly traps that will surprise and challenge them.
This update, the biggest since launch, also presents a new game mechanic that will truly electrify the experience! In this world, enemies and traps can become supercharged, allowing them to gain additional properties and attacks. This mechanic also influences boss battles, offering new challenges and strategies players must undertake. They will have to watch out for the Volts, small electric creatures that can supercharge the whole room!
Featuring a retro pixel-art universe, Ember Knights will immerge players into a fiery 16-bit adventure. Legendary warriors can fight their way through the levels solo or with up to three friends, defeating hordes of enemies. The game offers hack’n’slash combat in which players will have to master timed attacks to make the best of the skills available to defeat all enemies. With dozens of different skills, weapons and relics to choose from, players can create hundreds of combat combinations to customize their playstyle.
Throughout the Early Access period, Doom Turtle have naturally supported the game with the help of Twin Sails Interactive. Monthly updates have included new weapons such as new weapons, skills, relics, enemies, bosses, worlds, gameplay features, as well as regular patches. The team has and will continue to build the game in each update with assistance from the community thanks to their feedback and comments.
The Early Access of Ember Knights is now available on Steam (PC). Players can buy the game for 14.99€/$14.99/£11.99. From October 20th – October 25th, players can enjoy a 20% sale offer for the Twin Sails publisher weekend, which will offer many discounts on the entire catalogue.
While the game supports keyboard and mouse controls, using a controller is recommended for the ultimate gaming experience. Ember Knights is playable in solo and co-op, both local and online, for up to four players.
