Konami and eFootball.Pro have today announced the first details surround the league format and first match dates for the eFootball.Pro league.
The eFootball.Pro league is played on PES 2019 and it is the first global esports tournaments where professional clubs to compete in order to find out who is the No.1 esports football team. The first league will be competed by FC Barcelona, FC Schalke 04, AS Monaco, Celtic FC, Boavista FC, and FC Nantes.
This league will be competed by the best PES 2019 players in the world, which also include Italy’s Ettorito. There will be three matches per month starting this December through to April 2019, being played on Saturdays or Sundays, with the top three teams advancing to the Finals in Barcelona in May. The bottom three teams will then head to the Last Chance Group where the winner will go through to the Finals.
These matches will take part at Highvideo Studios in Barcelona, and other stadiums such as Celtic Park in Glasgow and Stade Louis II in Monaco. The first three games will be played this Sunday, December 2nd, and will include:
- FC Barcelona vs. Boavista FC
- AS Monaco vs. FC Schalke 04
- Celtic FC vs. FC Nantes
