The latest set of world football’s elite performing stars has been announced, with last weekends stand out performers getting the red carpet treatment.

@JohnBGameHype

I start this weeks write up with Real Betis’s veteran Spanish player Joaquin. The 51 capped Spanish International became the oldest player of all time to score 3 goals in one La Liga match as he bagged a first-half hattrick, winning the game 3-2 for Real Betis. Joaquin has been rewarded with an 83 rated inform card in the LM position. Ratings include 85 dribbling, 86 passing, 82 shooting, and 70 pace. Sadly, whilst I admire the player in real life, I can’t really see many positives in this card, slow, poor stamina, 3* WF. SBC fodder at best.

Borussia Dortmund’s local boy Marco Reus scored 2 goals and assisted once as BVB smashed 5 past Fortuna in last weekends Bundesliga tie. With an 89 rated inform CF card, Reus is looking easy on the eye. Offering 86 pace, 88 dribbling, 89 shooting, and 86 passing make Reus’s first inform card this season a mouth-watering prospect in either a cam or cf role.

Ole Gunnar Solksjaer and Manchester United have had an absolutely stellar week. Beating both Tottenham and Manchester City when most people had written them off. Personally speaking, I thought Rashford would have got the inform card, but I can’t argue with Wan Bissaka who had an absolute blinder against Manchester City in last weekend’s derby. Menacing runs up and down the wing, and also neutralizing Raheem Sterling’s effectiveness was crucial in United taking all 3 points. One to watch owners also benefit from the inform card and will see a boost to 82 in rating with 90 pace, 81 dribbling, and 84 defending. Whilst the card is an effective speed demon, I can’t help feeling it’s another inform or two away from being more desirable. Poor heading/jumping, low passing stats, average crossing ability, and modest strength ratings mean Aaron Wan Bissaka is still a few inform cards off being the best RB representing the premiership in FIFA 20.
