In celebration of Omega Crafter’s first major content update, Omega Crafter will be 20% off starting today until October 17th 8:00 PM PDT.
Omega Crafter, the open-world survival crafting adventure developed by Preferred Networks, Inc. (PFN), ventures toward new horizons in the Fallen Samurai Isle update coming to PC via Steam Early Access today.
In Omega Crafter, the developers creating an in-universe video game go inside the game itself to battle malicious programs threatening to halt development. Today’s update expands the journey with a new biome, Fallen Samurai Isle. Cross the open ocean to visit this scenic archipelago harboring new treasures…and new threats. Once home to the samurai, Fallen Samurai Isle now serves as the lair of fearsome foes. Explore the abandoned castle and surrounding residences, defeat enemies to acquire items, and face the sinister boss waiting at the heart of the castle. Don a samurai’s armor and helmet, then begin a new adventure on Fallen Samurai Isle!
This major update adds two new methods of travel: boats and gliders. Reaching Fallen Samurai Isle requires a boat. Climb to the highest part of the Isle, then float down with a glider to really take in the beautiful scenery. Grammi, the player’s faithful friend and companion, enhances the adventure with programmable behaviors. Quickly learn real programming skills to tweak Grammi’s behavior with an easy-to-understand drag-and-drop interface, even for inexperienced players. Several new traditional Japanese building materials allow the construction of Japanese-style structures. Construct towns and buildings with a distinctively Japanese aesthetic. The addition of a new special cookware set allows for the preparation of Japanese dishes such as sushi using caught fish.
For this first big update since Early Access launch, Preferred Networks focused on creating a feature-rich content drop with style and substance, promising new levels of challenge and excitement. In addition to the new dungeon, major boss, building materials, structures, and traversal methods, Fallen Samurai Isle also adds many new pieces of equipment and increases the world’s level cap! Omega Crafter is available in Early Access on PC via Steam for $24.99 with a 20% discount until October 17th 8:00 PM PDT. Language support includes English, Japanese, French, German, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, with machine-translated options in Spanish, Thai and Portuguese.
