Part of the KADOKAWA group, Gotcha Gotcha Games (Tokyo, CEO: Makoto Narita) is excited to celebrate the annual Maker Day with RPG Maker Festival 2025!
Maker Day (Tsukuru no Hi, February 15th) is the day to recognize and spread the joy of game development. To celebrate, Gotcha Gotcha Games is holding another edition of the “RPG Maker Festival!”
“RPG Maker Festival” is a grand online event honoring the theme of “Creators and players, everyone is the star!” There’ll be new releases and lots of discounts, DLCs, and a great variety of games created with RPG Maker.
This year, 1,074 games will participate – a record-breaking number of titles! Don’t miss out on the chance to discover new masterpieces and get amazing games at great prices.
Additionally, 2025 marks RPG Maker MZ’s 5th anniversary, RPG Maker MV’s 10th anniversary, and RPG Maker 2000’s 25th anniversary. RPG Maker 2000 DLC Reborn
It’s been an amazing 25 years since RPG Maker 2000 was first released. To celebrate, we’re bringing back some content that was released with the RPG Maker 2000 Handbook specifically for RPG Maker MZ, including tile sets, characters, animations, sound effects, and voice lines, all remastered for use with RPG Maker MZ. In addition, the original assets from RPG Maker 2000/2003 are also included in a compatible format.
Whether you’re a collector who never had the opportunity to get the Handbook or just like the look of these assets, this is a great opportunity to add them to your library!

Combining it with the power of RPG MAKER UNITE, built with Unity, we hope creators can take their ideas to the next level.
