A new level of hype has been reached!
In the latest episode of State of Play from Playstation, Naughty Dog revealed a new trailer which officially confirms the release date for the highly anticipated The Last of Us Part II. The Latest trailer shows Ellie and new characters Dina and Jesse and a surprise return of Joel’s older sibling Tommy.
Whilst fans have seen but just a glimpse of Joel in the reveal trailer back in 2016 we now finally get a full reveal of Joel in the latest trailer bringing the hype of The Last of Us 2 to a new level. On top of this we got an eye full of new environments, hostile enemies and plenty of gore and as ever the infected new and old make a return.
The Last of Us set a standard for unique and compelling storytelling and since its first release in 2013 Naughty Dog have gone beyond and evolved in creating masterpiece story driven games and if the latest trailer is anything to go by I am sure we are in for a treat indeed. The trailer shows a lot so naturally gamers will create their own theories as to what happen but I won’t be taking any chances, Naughty Dog really know how to create trailers. I for one am excited and February 21 2020 is a date I will be certain to reserve in my diary.
