From the annals of television history to the infamy of murder and mayhem.
In the early 1950’s, ‘The Mother Gooseberry Hour’ garnered a cult-like following among its young viewers. Along with her goose puppet co-host, Doctor Futterman, Mother Gooseberry educated children on the importance of dental hygiene. When law enforcement raided Futterland Studios on charges of kidnapping, racketeering, and conspiracy to murder, multiple police lost their lives in the capture and arrest of Mother Gooseberry. She would have spent her life in prison, but thanks to Murkoff and Dr. Easterman, the duo learned to embrace their eccentric hobbies with rabid glee. This unhinged matriarch is here to remind you to floss, brush, and mind your manners, or else… Remember, nobody else will love you like mother does!
